Amid lockdown for COVID19 pandemic, Suvidhaa has launched online delivery system for almost all kinds of grocery items in Shillong.
While COVID19 positive cases are rising at an alarming rate in India, consumers in Shillong have been facing problems in getting supplies of their essential commodities.
“To help people of Shillong during the crisis, we launched the Suvidhaa platform,” one of the promoters of the platform said.
Staring from rice, dal, atta, maida, channa, suji, rajma, ghee, mustard oil, refined oil, tea leaves, biscuits, oats, Maggie, soaps, sauces, toilet paper, huggies and adult diapers are available on the Suvidhaa online platform.
At present, the online booking and home delivery system is available in Laitumkhrah, Nongrim Hills, New Colony, Fire Brigade, Nongthymmai, Lachaumiere, Dhankheti, Malki, Barik, Police Bazar, IGP Point, Polo Bazar, Garikhana, Motphran, Jhalupara, Jeep Stand, Mawprem, Rilbong, Laban and Bishnupur areas of Shillong.
“The grocery items are supplied till the doorsteps of the consumers by well managed and sanitized staff,” the promoter of Suvidhaa, said.
The consumers just need to send a “Hi” message on two WhatsApp numbers — 60094-78379 and 60094-89130.
“Once we receive the message from the consumers, we send the complete list of grocery items available with us. And people can pick up the items, and send the list to us,” the promoter, said.
The promoters of Suvidhaa said they try their best to deliver the grocery items at the doorsteps of the consumers as early as possible.
At present, Suvidhaa is charging an additional Rs 30 per order for packaging, handling and delivery of the grocery products.
