Amid lockdown, Honda Cars India on Monday launched the ‘Honda from Home’ online booking platform to help customers to buy a car without visiting a dealer.
The new ‘Honda from Home’ platform aims to give comprehensive details about the automaker’s models and dealerships, and that too, with multiple payment options.
Honda Cars India is integrating all the dealers across India with the new online car booking platform.
It’s a very simple process to book a car online, the Honda Car India officials claimed.
In fact, Honda Cars India is the first automaker in India to introduce the online booking system amid the lockdown.
To book a vehicle through the ‘Honda from Home’ online platform, a customer will have to visit the automaker’s official website.
After selecting the ‘Book Now’ option, the customer will need to submit the contact details, the model, variant and colour of the car he or she would like to book.
The third step is to decide the city and dealer from where the vehicle will be purchased.
In the next step, the customer will have to share the address and PAN details.
And in the fifth step, the customer will be directed towards the payment gateway.
The vehicle will be booked after paying the booking amount through the selected payment option.
After making the payment, the customer will receive a booking confirmation id through SMS or email and the selected dealer will also get the booking details.
Sales executive from the dealer will soon contact the customer to complete the documentation and discuss finance or final payment options.
The vehicle will be delivered at the customer’s doorstep after completion of all the formalities.
